Founding creator rate
Permanent 5% platform fee criteria.
Draft terms for Saw Share's limited-time founding creator offer. These criteria are intended to keep the rate permanent for genuine founding creators while preventing account farming, resale, and abuse.
1. The permanent founding rate
An eligible creator receives a permanent 5% Saw Share platform fee on qualifying subscription and one-time collection transactions made through the qualifying creator account. Permanent means the 5% rate has no scheduled expiry and continues for the life of that account, provided these terms continue to be met.
2. Date-based eligibility
A creator must complete every requirement below before the offer closes. Saw Share may verify eligibility before applying the rate.
- Join the Saw Share waitlist and create a creator account by 11:59 pm AEST on 31 December 2026.
- Complete creator onboarding, identity checks, and payout verification using accurate information by the same deadline.
- Publish at least one genuine collection block by the same deadline. Placeholder, duplicated, or test content does not qualify.
- Accept these Founding Creator Rate Terms and the Saw Share Terms of Service.
3. Active account requirement
The qualifying account must remain active. An account is active when, during each rolling 12-month period, its creator signs in and completes at least one genuine creator activity, such as publishing or updating a collection or content block, responding to account or payout verification, or receiving a genuine fan transaction. Automated activity, self-dealing, or actions performed only to preserve eligibility do not count.
4. Good standing
A qualifying account remains in good standing when all of the following are true:
- The account is not suspended or restricted for a material breach of the Saw Share Terms, Content Policy, or applicable law.
- Identity, contact, tax, and payout information remains accurate and current.
- The creator does not owe Saw Share overdue fees, refunds, chargebacks, or other amounts after notice and a reasonable opportunity to resolve them.
- The account is not used for fraud, fee avoidance, artificial transactions, or abuse of the founding-rate offer.
5. One rate per creator
The offer is limited to one qualifying account per individual creator or genuinely separate legal business, unless Saw Share approves otherwise in writing. Creating, controlling, or coordinating multiple accounts to collect, reserve, or resell founding rates is prohibited. Saw Share may consider shared identity, ownership, payout details, devices, content, or coordinated activity when enforcing this rule.
6. No sale or transfer
The founding rate is personal to the verified creator or business that qualified for it. It cannot be sold, assigned, sublicensed, or transferred. Selling the account, transferring effective control of it, misrepresenting its beneficial owner, or giving another person access primarily so they can use the founding rate ends eligibility. A legitimate change in ownership of a business account requires Saw Share's prior written approval for the rate to continue.
7. What the 5% covers
The 5% is Saw Share's platform fee and is calculated on the transaction amount attributable to the creator's qualifying collection sale, excluding amounts refunded or reversed. Payment-processing fees, taxes, chargebacks, currency-conversion costs, payout fees, and other third-party charges are separate and are not included in the 5% platform fee.
8. Loss and restoration of the rate
Saw Share may suspend or remove the founding rate if the account becomes inactive, is no longer in good standing, was never eligible, or breaches the anti-transfer or multiple-account rules. Except where immediate action is reasonably required for fraud, safety, legal, or payment-processor reasons, Saw Share will provide notice of the issue and at least 14 days to remedy a remediable breach. Saw Share may restore the rate after reviewing the creator's circumstances, but restoration is not automatic after account sale, fraud, deliberate fee avoidance, or material misrepresentation.
9. Account closure
The founding rate ends when the qualifying account is permanently closed or deleted. Opening a new account later does not transfer or reinstate the rate. Temporary suspension does not by itself end the rate unless eligibility is subsequently removed under these terms.
10. Changes to these criteria
Saw Share may make reasonable changes needed to clarify these terms, comply with law, address new forms of abuse, or reflect payment-processor requirements. A change will not increase an eligible creator's 5% Saw Share platform fee or impose an expiry date on the permanent rate. Material changes will be notified before they take effect where reasonably practicable.
